It is very important to let loose every once in a while. A cocktail or a glass of wine can help with this. I’m not saying you should get totally trashed but having a drink at the end of a hard week can allow you to destress and unwind. When you work to hard and hit a mental block clearing your mind and distressing with a drink can allow for a new perspective and ideas on whatever it was you were working on. Alcohol in moderation can be very relaxing and help to take your mind off of the negative things in life. For some people I think, having a drink or two once a week can contribute to a more positive stress free life. It is proven that alcohol can help relieve stress. Not to mention that letting loose every once in a while and having fun can make anyone happy. Everyone needs dome fun in their life.
It is also important to mention the health benefits of alcohol like red wine. The consumption of red wine has been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease. A glass of red wine a day is highly recommended as an important antioxidant which helps promote the good cholesterol the body needs for heart function and can also prevent artery build up.
Of course large amounts of alcohol are obviously not good for you. Alcohol if consumed in large amounts can be very harmful to the body as well as to the mental state of a person and can cause depression. However, when used in moderation and in the right way, alcohol can be a positive thing and used to improve mood and thought process. I am a strong believer that a cocktail or a glass of wine every once in a while is a big part of living a happy life and letting go of unwanted negative vibes that can bring down your mood.
